금번 예술자선행사를 통한 여러분의 협력과 참여는 지역 아티스트들의 작품을 함께 감상하고 소장할 기회를 주는 동시에:
1. 저소득층 또는 다문화 가정의 어린이, 소년소녀가장 등 한국사회에서 어려운 환경에 처한 어린이들을 격려하고 그들보다도 더 어려움에 처한 사람들을 위해 봉사하는 파랑새봉사단 운영에 기부됩니다. 봉사를 통해 아이들의 자존감, 사회구성원으로서의 소속감을 키워주는 의미있는 프로그램입니다.
2. 또한, 굶주리는 북한의 어린이들에게 빵을 제공하는 프로그램에도 기부됩니다.
3. 마지막으로, 서울영리더스클럽의 지역사회를 위한 봉사 프로그램 (고아원 지원, 집짓기, 홈리스 밥퍼주기 등) 운영에도 일부 사용될 계획입니다.

Money fundraised from this event will go towards:
1. Helping Underprivileged Children in South Korea
Donations will be made primarily to the “Blue Bird Volunteer Program” by WeStart, consisting of underprivileged children from low-income, multicultural families, or families only with grandparents.
The Blue Bird Volunteer Program funds these underprivileged children to volunteer to help the even more unfortunate in the society! This program encourages the disadvantaged children to be part of the society, making positive change,raising their self-esteem and sense of ownership in this society.

2. Helping Feed Malnourished Children in North Korea
Donations will be also be made to help malnourished children in North Korea by Minsana (민사나 (민족사랑나눔)).
Every $1 dollar (1,000 won) will feed a starving or malnourished child for one day and still have money left over. $7 (7,800) will feed a child for a full month!
It just takes one week for a child to show eight gain and about 1 month for most children to enter a healthy weight!

Money that is donated to our club, the SYLC will contribute towards our club's future community service initiatives as we often times need money to conduct our service activities. Our club's past service projects have included:
Seoul Young Leaders Club" (SYLC), a satellite club of the Seoul Rotary Club, is organizing the "Community Empowerment through the Arts Fundraiser" to raise funds for charity, promote local artists, & bring together our community and guests from around the world through a fun Art Fair event.
WHO:
Rotary brings together people who take action to address important issues for local communities worldwide.
WHAT:
Rotarians contribute their time, energy and passion to sustainable, long-term projects focused on peace and conflict resolution, disease prevention and treatment, water and sanitation, maternal and child health, basic education and literacy and economic and community development (e.g: Rotary's Six Areas of Service).
SEOUL YOUNG LEADERS CLUB (SYLC):
The SYLC is an independently run satellite club of the Seoul Rotary Club, the first Rotary Club in Korea that was founded in 1927 as part of Rotary International (RI); while we are independent, we are responsible for raising funds for our community service projects.
SYLC Mission:
To empower ourselves by providing the opportunity to make a difference in our community through supporting local charities and Rotary to further reach others outside our community.
